Re: Those that trade options. Can you recommend the best books on options trading...

If you want an all inclusive, almost every options trade you can make with examples, I recommend this one:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Bible-Options-Strategies-Definitive/dp/0131710664/ref=sr_1_28?ie=UTF8&qid=1366465120&sr=8-28&keywords=stock+options

However, it does not go over strategies, just straight up 'here's all the options trades you can make and with examples'. It briefly explains the greeks of options. Overall I use it more as a reference for examples rather than to plan a specific strategy.

As you know I'm an option seller. I really liked this book on writing puts (and it's a cheap book):

http://www.amazon.com/Selling-Put-Options-Way-ebook/dp/B00408A6AC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1366465394&sr=8-1&keywords=selling+put+options

I also currently own this book on writing covered calls, but it's not worth the price, IMO:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Stock-Option-Income-Generator/dp/0470481609/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1366465537&sr=8-1&keywords=the+stock+option+income+generator

Try this website first though, very good on explaining some basics as well as strategies for covered calls and even writing puts (plus it's free - gotta love the internet):

http://www.mycoveredcallwriting.com/

As far as option strategies for going long, I can't help you much there. However, the first options book I ever read was this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Options-Michael-Sincere/dp/0071476369/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366465778&sr=8-2&keywords=stock+options

Very straight forward, very cheap, but again, most of the info in this book can be found online.
