|Re: Former Syrian general says Hezbollah has chemical weapons|
I wrote this a few days back in response to an article about NK/Syria ties.
"If this is true(article stated evidence was found, but nothing confirmed), then there is much more to this than just N Korea and Syria being in cahoots. This automatically ties Russia and Iran into this. It would benefit each country even more favorably if they all worked together(Syria, N Korea, Russia, and Iran) to evade the economic drawbacks from sanction imposed on them by the US,EU, and UN. No country is going to just starve because of some decree. Moreover, this will affect N Korea talks with the US and the level of trust that could be given to N Korea to hold up their end of the bargain without formulating some plan to aid US enemies behind their backs. "
This confirms that NK, Syria, Russia, and Iran are all in bed together. Hiding behind another country to get around constraints is nothing new. Guess how Germany got around their military constraints before WW2? Russia! German scientist did a ton of weapons research and development in Russia to avoid detection. Now Assad is using Iran to hide his arsenal of chemical weapons. With all of this going on, Trump knows that something in is the works and thats why he doesn't trust NK's willingness to talk about reducing nuclear weapons. Maybe feels NK is trying to get themselves off the radar. The only thing that alliance is missing is a powerful western European country to help them out. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but Brexit could change some things in Western Europe.
