His exact quote was,
“I said that resumption of the U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided
the public anticorruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,”
Mr. Sondland said in the document, which was released by the House committees leading
the inquiry, along with the transcript of his original testimony from last month.

I'm really not sure how all this trial & court stuff works but I am pretty sure
that you can't convict someone based on how someone interprets another
persons words.

Ok so the memo of the transcript released where Trump ask him to him a favor doesn't work? Mulvaney on live tv saying yes we do it all the time doesn't work? Trump's own guy Sondland doesn't work? West Point grad and Viet Nam vet Taylor doesn't work? Purple Heart recipient Lt Col Vindman doesn't work? Are you waiting for Trump to go on national TV and say it? We all knew he was a crook when he ran, why this surprises anyone is just hard for me to contemplate.

I'm not that stupid or naive to think Trump didn't want the President of Ukraine
to investigate Biden.
My point is, when it comes to convicting or impeaching someone I don't think
a court or politicians can do it unless you have actual proof of Trump saying
Quid pro quo.
You also have Sondland saying he asked Trump what he wanted him to do
and Trump said, no quid pro quo.
And of course you list all the people who testified interpreting it as wrongdoing,
What about the ones who testified to the opposite?

Kurt Volker, U.S. Envoy to Ukraine, who said in his Congressional Testimony, just released,
“You asked what conversations did I have about that quid pro quo, et cetra. NONE, because
I didn’t know there was a quid pro quo.”

Courts convict people everyday that don't say "I shot the guy" or "I robbed the Bank".
I don't know of anyone testifying under oath that has said the "opposite", if there are some let me know.

Sure they do,,
They just don't do it based on someones interpretation of words.

Direct from Sondland's latest testimony

President he's not big on small talk so I would have one shot to ask him.
And rather than asking him, "Are you doing x because of x or because of y because of z?"
I asked him one open-ended question: What do you want from Ukraine?
And as I recall, he was in a very bad mood. It was a very quick conversation.
He said: I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelensky to do the right thing.
And I said: What does that mean?
And he said: I want him to do what he ran on.

And from Volker:
When asked about Gordon Sondland’s “no quid-pro-quo” text to Bill Taylor,
Kurt Volker stated, “Gordon was repeating what we all understood.” - which was
no quid-pro-quo.
